RED DEER LAKE SOCCER ASSOCIATION
About us
Red Deer Lake Soccer Association is a volunteer-run community program dedicated to giving every child the opportunity to play soccer in a fun, inclusive, and social environment. We believe in building skills, confidence, and friendships both on and off the field.
Each spring, we offer league programs for players from U5 to U13 at the fields beside the Red Deer Lake Community Hall. Whether your child is new to the game or developing their skills, our focus is on teamwork, sportsmanship, and enjoying the game together.
Our program follows the Canada Soccer Grassroots Standards to ensure age-appropriate development and a positive, player-centered experience. Learn more about the Grassroots Standards here:

Volunteers Make it Happen
As a volunteer-run program, we rely on the support of our community - and we need you! There are many ways to get involved:
COACHES
Help guide and develop our young players in a fun, supportive environment. We provide weekly drill resources to assist with practice planning and coaches receive a player fee rebate for each team they coach!
TEAM MAnagers
Serve as the main point of contact between organizers and families. You’ll help communicate schedules, weather policies, cancellations, and (most importantly!) the team snack schedule. Team Managers are also responsible for distributing team equipment at the beginning of the season and collecting and returning it at the end of the season.
FIELD SET-UP CREW
Lend a hand setting up and taking down benches, nets, and corner flags on the evening your child plays.
SEASON END BBQ ORGANIZERS
We wrap up the season with a BBQ and games day celebration. This special event depends on volunteers to coordinate food donations, organize cooking equipment, set up serving areas, and manage helpers on the day of. It’s always a highlight for players and families — let’s keep this great tradition going!
We’re always grateful for any support. If you have other skills or ideas for helping out, please reach out — we’d love to hear from you!
